DR DEAN LAUBSCHER
Dr Dean Laubscher graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BChD) with distinction from the University of Pretoria. He is affiliated with the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine in the School of Dentistry at the University of Pretoria, where he is involved in clinical practice, research and continuing professional development.
Dr Laubscher has contributed to peer-reviewed research focusing on Oral Medicine, including the diagnosis and management of medication-related oral conditions and adverse drug reactions. His published work explores the oral complications associated with commonly prescribed medications and highlights the importance of multidisciplinary patient care.
His professional interests include Oral Medicine, Periodontics, oral pathology, pharmacology and evidence-based patient care. Through his clinical and academic work, he is committed to improving the understanding of oral manifestations of systemic disease and medication-related oral conditions while promoting best practices in patient management.
